Behind every great company is a team of unique and talented individuals and we’d like to introduce you to ours. Every week, we’ll be posting some fun tidbits about a member of a staff to help you become better acquainted with the Grassroots Wine team. This week we chose Liz Hale, our Midlands and Aiken/North Augusta Sales Rep and Spain/Portugal Portfolio Manager.
What is your role at Grassroots Wine?.
Sales Representative and Brand Manager
Where are you from?
The South- SC, MS, GA, FL- I graduated high school in Hilton Head, SC and attended UGA and Johnson and Wales.
What is your professional background?
Food and beverage- I’ve worn all hats, from Chef/Owner to bar manager.
What is your favorite part of working at Grassroots?
I love working for Grassroots because of the sense of family- that and the wine- we really do have some of the best wines in the state
What are you currently drinking?
It’s summer and it’s hot! I’m drinking Biutiful Cava Brut nature, Casal Garcia Vinho Verde and rosé- Rosé de Printemps and French Pool Toy are favorites
What do you do in your spare time?
I book bands for a few places in Columbia, occasionally I play some music too.
What are three traits you would use to describe yourself?
Curious, conscientious and clumsy!
If you were a type of wine, what would you be?
I’d be a wine that hopefully ages very, very well…
