Anchored by Terry Theise Selections and Schatzi Wines, our Austrian and German portfolio is composed entirely of outstanding independent producers. The vast majority of these estates have been passed down through multiple generations, and many of our winemakers here are pioneers in the field of biodynamic farming. We represent the icons of these countries: Johannes Selbach, Josi Leitz, Willi Schaefer, Alzinger, Schloss Gobelsburg, Weingut Bründlmayer. The style of these wines can range from rich and imminently age-worthy Rieslings to crisp and gulpable Gruner Veltliner, but they all have the distinctive influence of terroir, bracing backbone of minerality, and mouth-watering acidity. These are likely the wines we bring home to drink most often.
